Vinit Bodas founded Deccan Value Investors L.P. in 2004. The firm runs a concentrated portfolio — typically five to ten positions — and makes two or three investment decisions a year. Its work spans the United States, developed international markets, and emerging markets, with a strong emphasis on disciplined fundamental analysis and long partnerships with clients.
Outside investing, Vinit and his wife, Uma, support education, Vipassana meditation, Indian cultural and religious institutions, and Connecticut community causes through the Vijaya Foundation, which they founded in 2006.
